Felony Offenses
Felony offenses are broken down into four different levels: state jail, third degree, second degree and first degree. Punishment ranges for each level are different and you need an experienced attorney to explain to you the punishment range for your particular offense. You and your family need to know if you are facing state jail time, prison time, probation or deferred adjudication. Being charged with a felony is very serious and you need to contact our office immediately after your arrest or charge before you do or say anything that could jeopardize your case. Sharon Easley or Casey Davis will speak to law enforcement and appear in court on your behalf, coordinate with you and your family regarding your bond or arrest warrant and make a grand jury presentation when necessary. We will work diligently to negotiate a just resolution of your case whether that be a plea bargain, a reduction to a lesser offense, a no bill by the grand jury, a dismissal, a motion to suppress or a jury trial. If you are facing felony charges contact our office immediately at 972-715-1929 to schedule a free consultation with a member of our criminal defense team.
